We took an underwater photography trip to the Philippines in December 2016.
Angelfish are found on shallow reefs in the tropical Atlantic, Indian, and western pacific Oceans. They have laterally-compressed bodies and resemble butterflyfish. Angelfish have a strong preopercle spine on the gill cover which butterflyfish lack.
