Andrafiamena-Andavakoera is a protected area of transition and deciduous dry forest with caves and limestone formations, established to protect the Perrier's sifaka. The area is in Anjahankely village. Lodging is at Black Lemur Camp.
Black lemur reserve
Anjahankely village supplies the labor and guides for the camp and reserve. The camp supplies fresh water for the village, supports the school, and supports the reforestation nursery supplying native trees for reforesting efforts. The village also farms fragrant aromatic rice.
