Masoala National Park is the largest protected area on Madagascar and lies mostly in the Sava Region. Ten lemur species are found in Masoala. Access is from Maroantsetra by boat. This is a very wet rainforest and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We stayed at Ecolodge Chez AROL.
The lodge supplies hydro-power and water to Ambodiforaha village.
